Fostering

Pure Primal is committed to helping Chicago's homeless animals by fostering dogs in need from rescues and shelters including Chicago Animal Care and Control (CACC).  This is Dina, our most recent foster dog that we also adopted; she is a 5 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel that was a puppymill breeding mama.

Rescue

Carrie Thiergart, Pure Primal's founder, is the Rescue and Medical Coordinator for Greater Chicago Cavalier Rescue ("GCCR"). GCCR rescues Cavalier King Charles Spaniels in need, many from puppy mills and commercial breeders.  This is Little Sadie, one of our recent foster dogs.
